There's some at the markets, usually. Near the bakers...

Kageyama has to try a few places before he gets an entire apple pie in addition to some food for himself. He’s been lonely and lost since Hinata left but lately he hasn’t even really seen Eren either. So the other friend he has gets bothered.

He tried not to because he still has a feeling Kenma doesn’t actually like him all that much. But, Kenma had more or less agreed to be friends… and Kageyama doesn’t have a lot of experience with friends but food is usually a good thing to give a friend.

So he knocks lightly when he gets to Kenma’s door.

One whole apple pie... between the two of them. For anyone normal this would be a problem, but honestly? Kenma can work with that. It might be the only food he goes out of his way to eat.

The knock is quickly answered, door sliding open to reveal that cozy almost cottage-like interior. His head peeks around the corner, stepping aside to let Tobio in and gesturing.

"Ah... thanks for coming." Awkward as ever, right?

Well, to be honest, the apple pie had been intended just for Kenma but if he wants to share that’s okay. He really just was trying his best to seem friendly. When the door opens he tries to smile but it’s more or less a very awkward expression as usual.

“Uh…thanks for letting me,” Kageyama responds, at least they can both be awkward together or whatever.

“I brought you a pie.”

"Mmmh- thanks... We can have it soon if it's still warm."

Hanging out awkwardly with a bit of sideglance, and he eventually recovers to step along to the living room. A familiar kotatsu to set things on, and the TV already set up with one of the consoles.

"I got it for you," Kageyama says, kind of awkwardly. "It is warm."

The awkwardness, actually doesn't bother Kageyama that much, to the extent he even truly notices it. Once everything is set up, he sits down.

"What kind of game is it?"

When you're so awkward you don't even mind your own awkwardness. This is fine.

Kenma kindof lingers, then goes to the kitchen to get some bowls out, forks. "Ah, thank you... just over here then. How much do you want?"

"I was thinking... one of the sports games, maybe..." There's not many good volleyball games, but plenty of other ones they can try first. Mee Sports Volleyball, maybe?

Kageyama shook his head a little, confused. "It's for you."

"Okay." Kageyama doesn't really mind what he watches Kenma play mostly he just didn't want to be alone and everything.

He stifles a tiny laugh. "If I ate all this myself I'd die... That's so much."

Freeze it? Hmm, that somehow feels wrong.

Kageyama blinks.

"It's a lot?" He could easily eat a whole pie...

"Yeah...?"

Blink... blink. Volleyball players are all freaks with endless appetites.

"I can't eat very much..."

"Oh... uh... sorry."

He looks almost sheepish for a flash of a second.

"I can help you eat it then."

"No need... to apologize. It was nice of you... To get me some."

He cuts out a slice for himself, another plate gathered for Tobio and a fork.

"Want to just come get what you want? I'll get the game ready."

"Do you want some for later?" Kageyama asks as he goes to get look at the pie and then glances at Kenma.

... "Yeah... Maybe the same size slice." He calls back, he left like, most of the pie there. He wasn't kidding when he said he doesn't eat too much.

While he's sorting that out, Kenma's getting one of the game consoles ready. Legend of Zoldo? Seems fun enough.

"Just...one?" Kageyama frowns a little down at the pie.

But he starts to get himself some, basically the rest of what Kenma says he won't eat...not to mention the food he'd actually brought for himself and all... But he is a bottomless pit.

"Mmmh- it's nicer fresh. You might as well have some too-"

He won't be terribly surprised when it's all gone. But maybe a little impressed. Sports players and their bottomless stomachs, right?

When he gets back, Kenma's already had a couple nibbles, seemingly very happy with that- though it's hard to tell with his sharp features.
